LinkedIn contacted developers and marketing partners on May 17th, 2018 announcing early access to a new ad format — carousel ads.
Carousel ads, commonly used on Facebook, are an effective way to tell a story through multiple images.
The introduction of carousel ads on the LinkedIn platform shows a commitment to marketers. A commitment to offer a competitive marketing platform during a time when trust in social media is declining.
API access to carousel ads will be available for all accounts on June 12th, 2018.
The ad format allows advertisers to upload a unique image, text, and link destination for each slide of the carousel. More information about the ad format and developer access can be found in LinkedIn’s developer guide.
