To Do: 2020 Virtual Conferences

A long time ago, in a land far away, thousands of happy people gathered excitedly, sharing tales of business and corporate adventure. It was a joyous time to be a human; business cards and stickers flew like thunderbirds through the halls, and free swag seemingly fell from the heavens. “Meet you for a drink at the bar, later?” said one man in his branded T-shirt to another. “Sure, don’t forget your free drink ticket”, said his friend.

Enter: CoVID.

Unfortunately, the days of the in-person conference are all but a distant memory now. However, while our pantries at home may not quite match the end-of-day networking nibbles that we once knew, there ARE still opportunities abound for virtual networking and conferences that we’re excited to share with you!

One major win? You needn’t wear uncomfortable pants with your branded T or button down shirt; grab your favorite sweatpants, get ready from the waist up, and prepare for some exciting changes to the 2020 conference schedule! We’ve been hearing some great feedback about virtual conferences through the grapevine so far, and conference hosts are undoubtedly iterating to make these events even better moving forward.
