Progress Updates

February – Month in Review

Finding product market fit.

About “Month in Review”

I’ve learnt tremendous amounts from other companies through the transparency movement.  My hope is that I can pay it back by being transparent about Cloud Campaign’s journey in hopes that it will help other budding startups one day.

Hitting the 9 Month Mark

It’s been 9 months since I first started working on Cloud Campaign — a large milestone in itself.  The product has seen many iterations, including a pivot, and has matured to what I can confidently call a V1.
There’s a lot of significance in a product maturing from beta or an MVP into a “version 1”.  I believe we’ve finally found where the product fits into the larger market and can concisely identify the gap that it fills.

Product Progression

Instagram finally released an API that supports native publishing.  I quickly implemented the functionality the day the new API was released, but unfortunately, it’s currently in a limited beta, so we’ll have to wait before releasing it publicly to our customers.
With that aside, we still introduced some great new features.

WYSIWYG Analytics Reporting

‘What you see is what you get’ analytics reporting

‘What you see is what you get’ analytics reporting. Essentially the ability to export your analytics data with the current configuration from the historical analytics dashboard.

We also completely revamped the signup email campaign. Another step towards building a more enterprise-focused product.

Annotations and Client Reports

Cloud Campaign Client Analytics Reports

As a marketer, your job becomes much easier when you can quickly convey the value you’re providing to your client.

With Cloud Campaign’s client reports, you can now generate analytical reports for your clients with a single click. Choose the account you want to share and the applicable date range to accentuate certain key metrics.

In addition, you can now add annotations to clearly display what you did to cause the change. Some examples would be, “Started Fall fashion campaign” or maybe “Increased ad spend by 10%”.
